Tosin Odugbemi Hoskins Joins KPF’s “Diving Deeper” Panel for Women’s History Month

Founding Principal Tosin Odugbemi Hoskins of Atelier Oluwatosin was invited to speak at Diving Deeper, a Women’s History Month program hosted by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) in their New York office.

The month-long initiative brought together leading women in architecture and design to reflect on practice, authorship, and the evolving role of women shaping the built environment. As part of the New York programming, Hoskins joined a guest panel alongside Jing Liu (SO–IL) and Caitlin Taylor (Midcourse Design), in conversation with KPF leadership.

The discussion centred on founding and leading independent practices, navigating authorship in a multidisciplinary field, and building work that moves between architecture, brand, and culture. Tosin shared insights from Atelier Oluwatosin’s approach to spatial identity and strategic storytelling, positioning design not simply as output, but as a form of cultural infrastructure.

Her contribution reflected on:

  • The integration of brand strategy and the built environment

  • Designing for perception, behaviour, and emotional resonance

  • Expanding the role of the architect beyond the building

The panel formed part of a broader series of conversations, exhibitions, and internal programming across KPF’s New York and London offices, highlighting the perspectives and leadership of women across the profession.

For Atelier Oluwatosin, the invitation signals a growing recognition of the studio’s cross-disciplinary model, which sits at the intersection of architecture, commerce, and narrative.

Atelier Oluwatosin is a luxury-focused design and brand strategy consultancy. The studio works across hospitality, wellness, and cultural sectors, translating strategy into spatial, visual, and experiential systems that shape how brands are understood and remembered.
