This year’s event brought over 500 guests to the orchards of Red Hook, where local designers showcased garments made from reclaimed materials, natural dyes, and biodegradable fibres. Among the evening’s immersive experiences was The Discarded Body, an interactive installation by AO, developed in collaboration with community volunteers. The piece compressed a year’s worth of textile waste into sculptural seating, inviting guests to reflect on the scale and impact of clothing consumption.
