THE ASK
Brand an online singing course with a bright and sophisticated visual identity that reflects its mission to empower students to express themselves through music. Create a logo and brand collateral that feel timeless yet contemporary, balancing simplicity with vibrancy to capture the essence of The Vocalist.
THE RESPONSE
We began the process by developing a mood board to translate the client’s vision into a visual language. The goal was to create a brand identity that exudes brightness, joy, and refinement. Inspired by the client’s request for clean visuals and pops of sunset, ocean, and palm tree colors, we designed a logo that symbolizes The Vocalist’s essence: relevant, fun, and sophisticated.
The logo strikes a balance between Art Deco influences and contemporary design, creating a timeless yet modern mark that speaks to both the course’s educational rigor and its celebratory approach to music. To ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints, we developed a bespoke brand book outlining The Vocalist’s West Coast-inspired color palette, jazzy font choices, and unique design elements.
This identity was applied to an extensive suite of digital collateral, including custom social media graphics, motion graphic templates, video thumbnails, and advertisements. Additionally, we designed a user-friendly and visually engaging website, enhancing The Vocalist’s online presence and making it easier for students to connect with the course.
